2026 Annual Spring Meeting Old Rose Hill Cemetery Association

The annual joint meeting of the Old Rose Hill Cemetery Board and Association will be held Saturday April 4th, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.  The meeting will be held at the Oskaloosa Public Library meeting room.  All interested Association members are invited to attend and participate in the meeting.  Association membership is defined as those owning burial plots in the Old Rose Hill Cemetery or the designated heir to the rights of those interred in the cemetery.  If you have any questions, you may contact Don Stout, President ORHCA at the email address listed under the Board of Directors section of this site. 

Post Meeting Comments:

The annual spring meeting of the Association was held as scheduled on 04  Apr 2026 at the Oskaloosa Public Library. The Treasurer’s report was given and approved.  The minutes from the last meeting were approved. Mowing and herbicide contracts were approved. In addition, due to an infestation of moles on the cemetery grounds, the Board approved a one-time contract to spray grub killer. The President announced an indefinite pause on any changes to the bylaws. Chris Hewitt stepped down as Secretary of the Board but will remain as an at-large Board member. Don Stout Sr. will serve as President and Acting Secretary pending the election of a permanent Secretary. Title changes for Secretary to Director of Records Management and Treasurer to Chief Financial Officer were approved.
