October 2011 Special Board Meeting

A special meeting of the Board of Directors was held October 6, 2011 at the home of Virginia Dunbar. The purpose was to fill vacant officer positions. Tom Gaughan was elected Secretary to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Virginia Dunbar. Virginia will be staying on as a member of the Board. Barry Stout was elected Executive Vice-President filling that long-vacant position. Maxine Chamra and Martha Veerman volunteered to step down as Board members in order to allow some younger members of the Association to serve. The Association is extremely grateful for the service to the Board of all three of these ladies. All have served for many years and the Association would not have survived without them. We look forward to the continued service of Virginia to the Board and of continued advice to the Board by Maxine and Martha.
